2026 Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Our Community

Hispanic Heritage Month takes place September 15 through October 15, giving us an opportunity to celebrate the cultures, traditions, history, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

You may wonder why the celebration stretches across September and October. It begins on September 15, which marks the independence anniversaries of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico celebrates its independence on September 16, followed by Chile on September 18.

One of the best ways to celebrate is right here in our own community! Support local Hispanic- and Latino-owned small businesses, discover something new, and enjoy the food, culture, and experiences they bring to our neighborhoods.

We've put together a list of local Hispanic- and Latino-owned businesses and Hispanic Heritage Month events to help you celebrate throughout the month. Check out the list below and show some local love!
